Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Within The Matrix, the website and the community app. By making an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
- You need to be at least 16 to make an account.
- Use your real name or a name you're known by, and keep your login details to yourself.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
You own what you post: posts, comments, project write-ups, images and messages. By posting it, you give us permission to store it, display it to other members, and, where you've marked something public, show it on the open website. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members have already quoted or replied to.
Only post things you have the right to share.
Community rules
- Be decent. No harassment, hate, threats or personal attacks.
- No spam, scams, or unsolicited promotion, including in direct messages.
- Don't share other people's private information.
- Don't post anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the platform.
Members can report anything that breaks these rules. We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, when we think it's needed to keep the community safe. We'll try to be fair and consistent about it.
Classes and content we provide
Classes, recordings and other material are for learning. They're shared as-is, and we can't promise any particular result from using them. Code and techniques shown in classes are examples. Check them yourself before using them in anything important.
Pricing
The community is currently free. If we add paid features later, we'll say clearly what costs money before you're ever charged, and these terms will be updated.
Leaving
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@withinthematrix.com.
No warranty and limits on liability
We work hard to keep things running, but the service is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let members know before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
